Title: diff mount replacement
Post by: cyman on March 08, 2008, 01:14:24 AM
the next thing i have to do on my rx is the diff mount.

i have new poly bushes ready to be fitted but it would be helpfull if anyone has any info on fitting them!!!!!

i have had a good look at the mountings and am wondereing if i can take the 2 main bolts out that go through the oem rubber bushes and this will let the diff drop by enough to get a spanner in above the diff to remove the 4 bolts holding the mount in place. has anyone done it this way before???????

or am i going to have to free up the framework and drop the whole lot down to gain access

any advice from anyone that has done this before would be really helpfull

thanks :chat :chat

Good read. Got some Superpro Bushes in a spare carrier waiting to be fit and the bolts on the diff mount are absolutely solid. Was going to tackle it when I went for a Kazz diff. May have a go now (possibly)
