I have just put a set of volk\'s on mine and they are 10" all round, but only with 235/45/17 tyres, et 35 i think. Standerd susp and no rubbing :Laugh  i did have 245/45/18 on a 9j et 42 and they did rub the front on full lock !

17s generally considered the best compromise between looks and performance aren\'t they? You don\'t want to go any bigger if you want to keep handling and responsiveness. I think. Unless you fancy the pimpin\' look! Mine are 9" front and 10" rear, only ill effect is a bit of tramlining on bad roads. 15 offset\'ll stick out just a bit, tho, won\'t they? Gonna need some serious arches!

Well the rims are 1.5" wider than stock, the offsets 35mm less than stock - so it will stick out 54mm further than a stock wheel, or 79mm if u add a 1" spacer...

They might even just clear the arches with about 5 degrees of - camber :Hammer

18\'s are the best compromise.   17\'s ideal for handling - 19\'s look the best = 18\'s best of both worlds   :3gears-lh

Or I suppose you could say worst of both worlds  :Hammer

Seriously though, I went from 17\'s to 18\'s on mine.  I do plenty of track days, 1/4 mile (well did) and felt nothing negative.  So the difference to handling must be minimal but they look a lot better - particularly if you have after market skirts etc.  17\'s just look too small in that case, well most designs anyway.

Main benefit of staying with 17\'s is the cost of tyres  :3gears-lh :3gears-lh :3gears-lh

That\'s me told, then! Alas, I\'m now sooo ashamed of my poverty-spec 17s! :D And they look sooo small! I\'ll never be able to go out in public again! lol

My 9" fronts have 235 wide tyres on them, which I guess would be ok on 9.5"s, but nothing like the offset you\'ve got, just et45. No rubbing, though. I guess you\'d need to do a bit of furkling to the arches to get yours not to rub. Unless you go for a very unseemly ride height!

Soz for corrupting your thread, and cheers for the earthing kit! :Laugh

Well, i\'m running 18\'s with 235/40 ET38 which are 8.5"s and 40mm lowered on the front and they do rub the front of the arch liner but only slightly, think you\'ll have some problems not only with rubbing but you\'ll def have to do something with the arches running an offset of 15 !!!
