Just wondering what colour some of you guys have painted your dash. I have decided against the mazdaspeed carbon look dash i had that in my last FD and i want to do something different with this one. So any pics of your dash\'s would be great.
Cheers
Adam
I\'ve started painting my dash bits - so far the bit between the seats (not dash strictly), the heater console and the cover for the steering column are done and look (to me) bloody good.
Colour closely matches the bodywork... so blueish.
Iain
blue:)
whoa, right hand drive... never seen it before. nice color though :yes
Pink!:D
and a different view...:p
What\'s on the panel where your driver\'s side air vent should be Mr Pink?

ejector seats?
parachute brakes?
;-)
No ejector seat yet - I was thinking of getting the rotating number plate first :D
To be honest, I didn\'t even realise that it used to be an air vent there.
The 3 switches (the two orange things are light-up switches), from top to bottom are... fuel pump, rear fog light, neons :p
They all look great guys.....but i notice you have all painted them the colour of your car, which is ok, but my car is black :( did not see much point in painting them black. I remember seeing pictures on here of someone who painted theirs mercury grey????? but i can\'t find the thread. Any ideas who this is?
Cheers

shiny ally style can look good on any car & any colour IMO i know a chap who did his scoob with a titanium type finish paint & it did look very bling & the scooby interior was usually shocking cheap at best ;) lol
Si
Chrome it like this one.
Looks more Ann Summers to me :rollin

\'do you know what speed you were driving at sir?\' says mr Plod
\'No idea officer, couldn\'t see the speedo as the reflexion off the dash was blinding me!\' :rollin :rollin :rollin
do we think it would hold up in court? :bandit
I\'m definitly wanting to sort my panels as they are looking a bit scrapy now....what sort of paint is best for this?
Bet that takes some polishing!

I have a red FD3 just doing mine silver with some bits red, will post pics soon as i can.
The gun metal looks really nice
Hmmm gunmetal is very nice, I like :cool
Paul:D
yeah that gunmetal colour looks great. I\'ve been talking about spraying my dash since I\'ve got the car though so god knows when i\'ll do it :)
I\'d advise doing it in summer - the lacquer coat takes weeks to harden off at this time of year. Managed to put a fingerprint on mine a week after the final coat went on and life\'s too short to take it all out and start again!
Iain
Thanks for the tip Iain, definately dont wanna be doing it twice :D
