Title: How to remove rats nest (solenoid pack)?
Post by: Jono FD3 on March 01, 2008, 08:00:15 PM
Right then guys, so far I have removed the UIM, throttle body & intake pipes, but what else do I need to take off to remove the solenoid block as I need to test all the solenoids to make sure they are working properly & to change the pipes in there!

If you have got any pics or can let me know how many screws hold down the pack & roughly where they are that would be great!!

This is the stage I am at, at the moment:

Cheers
Jono

im pretty sure you got to remove the coil pack (2 or 3 10mm headed nuts) to get at the bolts for the nest. Off the top of my heds, there are 3 bolts holding the nest down and then it should only be held by the wiring.
