Post by: markrx7 on February 27, 2008, 09:40:33 AM
Hi all,

ive just bought a fmic that needs some slight modifying done.... it was fitted to a car with non pop up headlights and for single turbo.. i need to adapt it to work with my pop up headlighted twin turbo fd...

where would someone local to me (reading) do something like this ? and what would they need, the car and bits? is it expensive ?

i asked the same question on another forum and they seem to think if i take it to a place that does custom exhausts they should be able to sort out some intercooler piping as they have a pipe bending machine

Yep, some one like longlife exhausts or any custom exhaust manufacturer would be able to do your pipework for you & in stainless too!! Can\'t put in to words how much better it is..... no corroded pipes, quick wipe & they are like new!!!

If the IC itself needs to be moded, then any engineering/welding shop would be able to do the changes for you!!
