Title: \'Setting up\' Coilovers
Post by: shogun no 1 on February 26, 2008, 04:51:58 PM
I\'ve just bought a set of replacement second hand HKS Hyper D\'s but every local garage i ring up say they won\'t touch em because they need to properly set up.
Does anyone know somewhere fairly near Kingston/Croydon that can set them up??

Cheers

you bought these off ebay??

if so i think they are already assembled? it should be a matter of just fitting them.

When you set the up you have to simply adjust the damping level and the ride height. id take it to your nearest jap car tuning shop. as your in london im very sure your near a rotor specialist?

clive maybe able to point you towards someone.

simple really set ride height to desired level..dont have front higher than back or instability will be a problem..then put on softest setting and gradually increase until u are happy with ride
