I was told be a very reputable rx7 tuner last week "for gods sake dont buy a t04e turbo kit, because they dont fit"

Im not sure what this means as i know many fds run \'em. a) are they hard to fit b)are there some bad cheap kits about that dont fit or are dodgy.
This has been wrecking my melon all week.
Maybe the tuner was saying don\'t buy a kit from America as due to them being left hand drive they often make their manifolds run right through the seering area on our cars,and in order to get it to fit quite alot of work needs to be carried out getting it right.
Also there are many variations on the To4e turbo,so they may have been saying that the particular turbo you are looking at isan\'t the best,maybe too small.
Even one that is the right size is still pretty small for a rotary,but they do spool up quicker.
