Title: Why so low? Please help
Post by: DR SCHNITZEL on February 21, 2008, 08:02:29 PM
Hi all.

Im have some problems with the handling on the front of my car in that it rolls around an awful lot. when i got the car it was on standard struts with lowering springs, i decided to take these off and fit standard springs to see if that worked, but it didnt. the car is still just as low in particular on the passenger side. I want to get some teins but will the car sit even lower. what should i do from here? or does anyone else have a similar problem. my aim is to stiffen the front and rear, and just raise the front 1 to 2 cm. please help.

regarding the rolling....check your antiroll bars to see if one...you have any!!! and if you do check the bushings to see if theyre worn and the bar...incase its bent.

Yes i do have an anti roll bar although it doesnt feel like i do. lol, my only concern with the car at the moment is this handling. it has passed an mot, i think its coming off the road until i get this sorted. can adjustable coil overs go higher than standard height? ill be buying some next week i thinks and ill try and strip down the front suspension set up and roll bar and have a good looksy.
how much is an anti roll bar and new standard front bushings?
