Title: do i need map tweeking...
Post by: karl_tate on February 17, 2008, 10:35:22 AM
had my car mapped last month and was fine on the rollers but we went out on the road and the car started to mis-fire at the top end. got the car back and took the plugs to find that i still had 7 and 9\'s in there  should of checked before :Snoring

any way i have but 10\'s all round now and was wondering if i would need the map adjusting now?? this may not of solved the mis-fire as i havent taken the car out yet??

carl did recommend this but i want to do a few other thing before i go back down for a bit more boost :mmmm

btw single turbo

as I said Karl, the ignition could also be at fault,
It would be a very good idea to come down to me as the top end has not been mapped at all. That way we can not only finish off the mapping but also if there are any further probs we can sort them too at the shop.

Carl
