Title: Quick advice needed
Post by: m4drx on February 16, 2008, 12:57:19 AM
I have a set of late spec stock 16s for track use etc. I think (cant check until tomorrow) that they have 235/55/16 tyres on them. will a set of 205/55/16 tyres fit them?

cheers :Thumbs-up

How wide are they, 8j?
If so, a 205 will be fine and dandy - bit of a stretch, but nothing unsafe, and nothing extreme :)

I ran 205\'s on an 8 for well over 10k, inluding lots of fast road and some track use :) They felt gooood as well :yes

You\'ll be fine. Lots of people will say it\'s too stretched, but lots of people run far more extreme things with no problems - at the end of the day, you choice, i\'d have no qualms about doing it at all :)
