No, not a \'guess the porn star\' competition, but a rather stupid question, I\'m afraid. On the picture below, if I\'ve read correctly elsewhere, 1. is the overflow tank for the coolant system, 2. is the filler cap. I think. Assuming that\'s correct, what\'s 3? It has something written on it, but I don\'t read japanese... which also makes the owners handbook somewhat useless. :)

3 = Air Separation Tank or AST.

Yeah 3 is the AST, and whilst it says dont remove it lies. It can be good to take the top off to top up the system.

check the seams as often as oil change..
these have a tendency to crack and fail..
