well my rev counter has been playing up for a while but seems to sort its self out when warm :Hammer but now my speedo is playing up :2Mad
im sure i read some where before, something to do with adding resistors but i carnt for the life of me remember where i saw it. any ideas??
if not then has any one got either rev and speedo or a complete unit for sale??
thanks :cheers

Yeh, you are in the early stages if it\'s like mine .......... eventually both revs and milometer will pretty much cease to work.
I think Re-Worx know what to do re resistors or, as you say get a replacement.
Tim at RX Motors might have a 2nd hand one in his Alladins Cave of RX parts.

I have a full set of clocks, I have never fitted them but came out a 93 FD and were fully working then...
Quite happy for you to return them if there was any probs with them.
Do a search for capacitors rather than resisters, I\'m sure it was those:rolleyes:
Also, there was a good write up over on rx7club about swapping them out.
cheers guys,
craig i may well have them off you depandant on price and weather or not i can fix mine. PM sent :D
cheers

the problem from my research says its cracked soldering on the tacho side of things and a capacitor on the sppedo side.
Does anyone in the uk recondition them if you send them to \'em? the thing that puts me off doin it myself is braking a needle and knocking it out of calibration.
i have found the how to guide now, they are not possible to recondition but capacitors are penny\'s

Sorry i didn\'t mean the capacitors i ment, removing the whole cluster and sending it away for someone else to do all the soldering as i\'m worried about removing needles and my soldering isn\'t of the best standard.
anyone else got a set of clocks they want to part with :D
Hi mate, been away for a few days with work and just got your PM.. will respond there tonight..have to shoot out again!
