Well I know you lot are going to take the MICKEY but I have just been looking at a 91 RX7 that had a 2.6 engine, I thought they were all the same size at 1.3cc (2x624cc) to be a 2.6 it would need to have 2 engines or Rotors. Huh?
Excuse my ignorance but is this possible are they all twin Rotors ?.
Anyone.....?
PS looking to get a buyers Guide can anyone point me in the direction
check out the hints and tips on buying a rotary forum on this site for buying info ...
as for the 2.6 ... its a bit complicated but the simple explanation is that the rotary fires each rotor once per revolution where as a piston engine fires once every two revolutions.
Hence why they don\'t make power like a 1.3 ;) and can be more accurately compared to 2.6 piston engine.
Yes all production RX7\'s came originally with two rotors

Cheers Mike I have been doing some internet looking but its never that easy is at ha ha
So I can safely assume the 2.6 is implied rather than fact as many of the sites I visit only talk of thre 1.3l engine Cheers again
