Title: tyre/wheel size
Post by: jas_hall on February 03, 2008, 12:41:33 PM
Hi all, I\'m looking to replace the jap tyres with a new set soon. I have a slight prob with the tyres at the moment. Occasionally on sharp corners the top of the tyre grabs the underside of the wheel arch (the lip round the rim) and I was wondering if a lower profile tyre might help.
I\'m currently running on 255/40 on Mazdaspeed rims and have had suggested that 245/35 might be better. what do you think?

Jason, if you check in the wheels section there is an excel spreadsheet thata you can download and try different sizes.

thanks, it wasn\'t till I\'d posted that I realised that there was a special tyres suspension section!

Sorry!
