Lots of people on here quote different turbos (models) just wondering what all the sorts you can actually fit to a RX7? 3rd gen.
I have a T78 on mine but cant say i know a great deal about the best ones or the most powerful ones??:confused:
Was at local car meet the other week we had a R34 skyline with a T88:eek:
If you guys have different turbos please post which ones you got? as enhances all our knowledge of what we\'re up against should we meet!!!:cool

Greddy TD06-25G, I know its the top of the range of the TD06 series but not entirely sure of the current power output until a dyno/mapping session at WGT sometime, so any info on this turbo would be much appreciated.:)

i`ve got an rx7 sorte3d out by brian of RI. thanks all the same. will be wanting mods though :D i`ve got some other pictures but they are too big to post and being a total rem wen it comes to computers cant make em smaller. its the one in the for vendors car for sale section.. its bottom of page one. 17 days to go :rollin

only downside is its got 56000 miles on clock. when it goes pop i`ll be wanting a good street port and dowling ready for the big power mods who did all yuour engine work monster

i met ross last may. i was all up for buying a single turbo he had. drove down there. did the test drive. gave him a small deposit . and my loan got declined at the last stage. even though they had said yes on the phone.. i felt such a d*ck . and since then i lost his number. and met RI. and saved up and here we are.

Yea Ross is cool, sorted me out with my rx and so far so good. Should be meeting up at Japfest / Rotorstock and looking at two cars hes working on now... should be interesting.

I want a sub 10 sec car and want to stick to the twin turbo. I have no great knowledge of turbos but been told single have loads of lag!!!
Iam due a eng re-build shortly so going to get it ported and see what other bits i need to make it run quicker from 0-80 than the singles

your going to need to be working on more than just the engine and turbo\'s to get anywhere near a 10 sec 1/4 mile

suffice to say there was talk of a lttle comp as to who could get 1st 10 second RX7 in the UK so it\'s not just a few basic tweaks but for what little i know non sequential turbos, drag kinda suspension & proper tyres would be a good start if 1/4 is yer main goal :D
