Aon dont want to insure me as the car is modified and under 25. However, i did get a quote from greenlight, see below... Performance direct quoted me 2100 FYI. Anyone know about greenlight? currently with flux, and they will guarentee to beat the quote, but if green light are a better company ill go with them (flux originally quoted me 1900.)

Mr Newton
I can give you a PDF link to the insurers policy booklet:
http://www.highway-insurance.co.uk/highway/assets/images/products/privatecar
200707.pdf
The value you entered was £10,000 this is the maximum you would receive in the event of a total loss. The value would be assessed by an independent motor engineer at the time of a claim.
The mileage is not limited on the policy but you entered an estimate of 10,000 miles per annum.
Best Regards

You stated on the modification section: "Car has other small

We need a the full list of all parts that have been changed from factory even down to minor parts.

Try Sureterm Direct (//www.suretermdirect.com I think)..
They\'re pretty good with modifieds, and even better if you have it as a second car. I\'ve always managed to beat Aon and A-Plan (seemingly the most common places people use) quotes through them, and got better cover (less excess etc).
Worth a try (it also says 17-70 on their website so under 25 should be fine)..
just tried sureterm, got as far as telling them what car i had and what age i am, wouldnt insure me and wouldnt tell me why. not at liberty to go into their criteria apparently.
That\'s odd..
You under 21 driving such a beast perchance?
nope, 23. Ispoke to a manager (called back later) and he said they have per vehicle age limits (Even though the website says no age limits!) what a crock!
Greenlight are good I used them before, but try A-Plan thatcham branch before anyone else
I was told to get on my way when contacting sure term as well.
That\'s good news about greenlight not adding to the policy for the modifications, as i have quite a competitive quote from them :)
I\'m 23 too!
