Do any of you guys get more unwelcome attention in your FCs than in other cars? I certainly do. Had a guy in a Honda Accord estate barrelling round a roundabout after me. I mean his lights disappeared in the rear view then he kept coming another foot :Grrr
Then a kid in a VTi Civic was buzzing all around the car two nights ago wanting a race...
had a heavily modded 200sx race me a couple of years ago (and before anyone says it, yes that probably was one of the last times I drove the car!!! :() I called it a day when we hit silly-mph I need my license too much!
silly mph is about 76 over there though isn\'t it! We have about eh, 1 speed camera here in NI :3gears-rh
No I agree about holding onto the license. Over 100 is bad news but if you\'re racing another car at the time the judge ain\'t gonna buy that story about needing insulin for your granny :Laugh

And just wondered after looking at the pics what you\'ve got in terms of an exhaust?
Got my street ported motor running on the Microtech lt-10s the other day, started first time (well after removing the Crane Cams HI-6) gotta love the M\'techs :D So easy to tune too w/the laptop.

get used to it, its a rotary thing,
i had every tom dick and harry try and race me in my series 4 turbo, and most of them didnt even have half the horsepower but for some reason they thought they could win and after wheel spinning past them and away from them they come back for seconds, go figure :)
you should go to auckland/nz and drive around there in a rx, it would drive you bonkers :)
best thing is to ignore and save it for the track :) as it will cost you alot of fuel to keep showing them up

You have no idea. I\'ve had people following me all the way to my destination, to see the car up close. Others wanted to drive their bumpers into my hatch. Too bad my car didn\'t spit flames.:flamed The most funny ones are the ones that keep their lane up in front of a green light (when mine is still red) just to get a good look at the car. The most annoying one I\'ve had was some tool that blocked me and others for a few minutes! I was at a stoplight, got green but couldn\'t go because he was on the intersection to go across. He was just sitting there, doing nothing but smile!!! I was just about to get out to see what his problem was when he decided to move along.

That\'s the old exhaust, new one is being custom fabricated 3" straight through into a single exit with a free flowing silenced mid pipe.
Exhaust is being put together and then I\'m hoping Tim will map it and it should be all done!

no ricers trying to race you then?
I sometimes got them revving their engines, but most of the time they leave me alone. They don\'t even try most of the time.
I\'ve had on two occations nutters try it. One was with a Fiesta and another with a Polo (!) trying to race me. I did just for a laugh. I even asked the guy in the Polo if he was sure he wanted the spanking, lol. :Laugh
you should have said, its a 1.3 mate, ur 1.4 will smoke me....
