Title: Convertible Roof
Post by: leigh1551 on January 17, 2008, 11:20:05 AM
Hi

I currently need a new roof on my rx7 t2 convertible, the car was re sprayed 2 months ago and i am worried it will damage the fresh paint.  Does anyone know if the swop of the roof will damage my paint work?

It shouldn\'t if it\'s done properly. My convertible had the rear section of the roof taken off for a respray and put back on again, no problems.

I have fitted two now and the only dodgy bit is cutting the rear window hole if you are unlucky enough to buy a new roof without it cut (like me ;() The fitting is easy just have some extra hands about for when you are placing it and you\'ll be fine.
