I was going all out on my FD interior, doing alcantara everywhere, I\'ve decided to leave it for now, just got the middle plastics done in red...looks awesome....leaving it for now as might be saving up for a newer rx.
I bought a dash, and it is sanded ready to be trimmed in alcantara, is anyone interested in one covered? It\'ll be done professionally, probably cost around £100....
Any interest?

And would this include the glove box covered?
Next I would then want the door panels, rear boot plastics and rear bin plastics (ie, whole interior covered bar what you have done in red!) so starting with the dash and then if you could let me know colour/leather used (so I could get more of identical stuff!) then I\'m interested..

Is this the whole front dash section you are selling? Is this £100 for it after it has been retrimmed?

Does it include the bell housing around the driving gauges (MPH, REv\'s, petrol) etc.
If so, I\'d be interested in the lot.

Could also be interested depending what parts of the dash are being trimmed?

Right- its just the dash bit, no plastics, gauge surrounds etc
It will include the glove box.
Leather- It can be done, although I understand it may cost more, due to it being harder to work with.
Price- £100 is for the dash retrimmed
Colour- most (non lairy) colours are availible, i.e. red,blue,black

Well, as I mentioned earlier, he was gonna do everything on mine, but the fiddly stuff, like the heater/radio panel took ages, a day......I\'ll find out some quotes on different parts

My car looks like someone has sneezed gauges all over the dash and they\'ve just stuck to it - good for the gauges and vision, but I\'m after a more OEM look. Just looks a bit untidy to me. I was looking at getting it flocked, but Alcantara could be an option.
Although that does seem a bit cheap for a good job with real Alcantara :confused:
Well...its not genuine Alcantara, but the guy, whos been trimming all his life, has used both and said theres no difference as far as he\'s found. I did say to begin with I would rather put the best in, but he said theres not much if anything in it. Worked out about £30/m instead of about £45/m i think.

Had a chat with the guy, and his low prices were for me as I were a friend, so a gross miss underestimate I\'m afraid....sorry to get your hopes up.
It\'s one of those things that very expensive...but worth if its something you want to do if you get me
how much would he want for us lot then? or is he willing to do a group price if we get 5 or 10 people wanting it done?
Well, all done the dash would cost £250! He\'s not cheap, but then his work is fautless, I\'m very picky, but couldnt find fault with the parts he did for me. I doubt he\'d want to do lots of work unless he get a quiet patch. Or he can do it in his own time
Please confirm what would be covered for that rate, sounds interesting...

my guess for 250.00 you have to remove the dash for him i just paid more than that to have my dash flocked

1. Dash-the main dash, nothing else
2. Both Door cards (not including the plastic bits
Cost- £500
All this is just covering, no removal or fitting
Tango- will find out today how much extra for the pillars and centre console...is that the bit with the gear stick etc?

yeh thats the one. then i can spray the other plastic bits & it should look pretty decent.

Hiya, yep, as above, dash and door cards 500, and the centre suround bit and pillars will be 120
