Exactly what benefits does fittin an earthin kit give you? Also what will i need to make one?
Cheers Jay...:wave
make one? buy one.. its dirt cheap.
It will smooth out the electrical system in the car. ALL jap cars suffer with low grade wiring.
Mine cost me about £30 from Maplins all in.
1 * Metre of 4 gauge power cable
3 * Metre\'s of 8 gauge power cable
1 * Gold distribution block
Loads of gold O rings.

What do you use the distribution block for - from the pic it appears that all cables are just point-to-point, rather than radiating from a central point?
Top left connection - what is UIM?
I presume the 4AWG is for the main battery connector, and 8AWG for the rest? Did you get a new battery connector or stick to the original one?
Ta for help.
Andrew
What does this do, in simple terms?
Thanks

Upper Inlet Manifold.
FD\'s are notorious for having poor quality earths, so these help resolve this issue.
Poor earthing points can lead to all manner of ignition/ rough running problems.
