Quiet! A stock car and exhaust system will pass noise levels on pretty much all the tracks in the UK.

:yes ... Starts this season... dropped from 98db to 95db.

The marshalls at the gates do the checks... if they think you are louder than 95db they will pull you for a static check (2/3 of redline) there are also track side monitors that flag alarms up also and then you will be tested after your lap and the car park checks they do too... :(
...never been bothered myself though and never seen anyone else stopped either.

Think you get more road noise from the tyres on a stock car! :2Confused

anyone got a way of me testing sound levels???

i\'m off to to the in May, and a regluar visitor of the ring from the Supra forums has advised that they have been doing these checks this year already and he has never seen them before, as neither have i on previous trips... dont really want to do the trip just to get turned away from the track....

....IIRC though Carrera\'s are 98db from stock?!!? and they\'re everwhere on and around the ring...
