How much are these things worth and where can you get \'em?
Are original mazdaspeed panels real carbon fibre or carbon fibre "effect"?
How much would you pay for one made professionally using the "effect", can\'t tell the difference myself!!

when you see rel carbon next to effect the difference is very clear. i believe the mazda speed stuff is effect only. i personally wouldn`t pay for effect stuff on my car
mazdaspeed is carbon effect and i blve not avail anymore
real carbon is very hard to mould around the shape imo i prefer the carbon effect
I have seen both real carbon dash and the mazdaspeed ones and again I prefer the mazdaspeed one. looks so much nicer and cleaner. as rx7veilside said real carbon around the dash is hard to do and looks poor. well the one i see was very poor indeed
Will struggle to get hold of a new set, Mazdaspeed discontinued them not so long ago. :(

Was looking at it, but being carbon effect am pretty certain I could do it myself and look just as good but cost muchos less!!

You can still buy the set directly from Mazdaspeed, I noticed its still on the website this morning.
Yeah I noticed that on ebay, then jit made me see the light and i realised i could have late spec dash panels for half that and look 10x neater!
ive tried my self to cover the panel in the carbon effect and its really really really hard to get it perfect.
where do you find these late spec panels?? what is the main difference??

Why not buy ours...it is fully Carbon Fibre and not stick on. Fits like a glove, and you are buying British!

The mazda speed ones look quite smart i think but as said it is just effect.
I don’t think this is really what you guys are after as you are posting about the plastic panels, but saying that it is a nice alternative.
The pics i have aren’t great, but i will put them up. Can get better ones tomorrow. As Jon said price is £600 (less with members discount).

As you can see it keeps to a standard FD dash shape, so looks very simular from out side.
