Title: Wiring in front driving lights?
Post by: probedb on January 04, 2008, 01:49:22 PM
Hi all,

Does anyone have any pointers at diagrams etc for wiring up a set of driving lights? I can\'t use the existing fog light wiring as it\'s not rated high enough (35W instead of 55W).

Cheers :)

Paul.

They\'re the driving light types that are in Feed\'s headlights as in the bigger lights in here:

I\'m going to use the front fog switch in the car so it\'s really just a case of what wire goes to a fuse, battery etc :)

But that\'d be awesome if you could!

Cheers,

Paul.

Excellent thanks for that :) Any place in particular I should put the fuse? Also which of these looks suitable for the relay?

Thanks again btw! I might actually get these wired up now :)

30 amp will be plenty fuse should go between all power in puts so one befor the switch and one before the relay just to be safe close to the power out put as possible so if theres a short or problem the wire doesnt burn a long way it just blows the fuse
