Hello Mates,

I am new to this Community and got a simple question.

Is it possible to get a CoC for an imported car from Japan ?

I mean the car is NOW registred in UK is it possbile to get a CoC for selling it to another EU Country ?

Pistonheads one is cheap! Seller is a member on this site... forum name onetowatch or someting like that...

eBay one looks ok, both would need a test drive and a good goingover before handing any cash over.

Both cars can be exported out of the UK.

glad you have taken time to come on here too...i was talking to you on rx7...about the cars in uk..as said above for a car to be sold at that price must have a reason so best is to test drive and over look things before buying and then pay more then twice to get it fixed afterwards if things go wrong/bang.

Well i will do a Compression test on both Cars but does anyone know where i can do that near the Cars Location ?

And does anyone know somethin about the CoC ? That Paper would make it easier to import the Car :)

Ahhh ^^ I knew it but you posted some Pics of a car wit a different paint on it :) Thats why i am confused.

One Car is at Harrow thats in east London :) I would travel from Stansted :/

Hi Pikay - that black car being sold is mine.

Ill tryand be as honest I can here with any information about it.

I bought that car beucase I wanted some parts that were on it (namely the RZ recaros and the wheels as well as the rear diff). I have since replaced all these parts with standard parts and am selling the car as totally standard for the same amount of money it currently owes me.
Before I bought the car, I had it compression tested at WGT as it was the closest rotary specialist to whre the seller of it was. The results were - 6.65, 6.65 and 6.60 on the front and 6.5, 6.6 and 6.7 on the rear. Unfrotunately, we couldnt leave the engine to cool down as the seller was in a hurry. Therefore those readings are taken while the engine is hot. Standard compression test fgigures should be taken when an engine is hot and Pip advised me that the figures should be 0.25-0.3 bar higher when cold (so shud be 6.9,6.9,6.9 and 6.8,6.9,7.0 ish when cold).
Other than that, i cannot offer much else history on the engine as i dont have any. While i was swapping the diffs over, i did notice it had a lightened flywheel and brand new greddy clutch.
All that i can say is that i have been driving the car almost everyday now and it has yet to give me any problems. You are more than welcome to come and look at it if you wish.
