Title: Whats your veiws on Greddy T78 tubby..

Been offered a Greddy T78 33D with a T4 connection, whats your veiws onit and what sorta power do there put out... think it`ll be 2 laggy on ma rex as its not ported, so maybe poping it on ma gtr:mmmm

Any comments wud be great :)

Not a bad turbo from all those that have had it fitted, but most tend to have some porting.

I\'ve got a complete XS Engineering T04S kit that I just need to remove from mine if you\'re interested. Looking at the US RX7Club they appear to be reaching circa 400 on average boost.

Awesome turbo, but without porting you might be looking at 4500rpm before it comes to life ?

Was voted on the US RX7 site as the best turbo for a RX :cheers

Followed by T88 and then the RX6 :cool

What kind of power does it make? Would go for a GT3574 or 500r or even a GT4088 over the T\'s

T78s can make up to 500rwhp, non ported at 1 bar I reckon 340-350bhp woth correct tuning

Mine made 401bhp @ Fly @ 0.6bar :Giggle
