Title: High flowing mid-pipe
Post by: Joel Kelly on February 23, 2004, 12:35:00 PM
OK, Having had my car comprehensively mapped on the rollers at CPL on Saturday, I realise that I need a better flowing mid-pipe (mine uses std cat end-pipes and is more restrictive than the rest of the system). Does anybody know which mid-pipes flow really well (I mean, really, really well ;)), and does anybody have anything for sale?

Cheers,

Joel

Joel

Nice to meet you on Saturday, the car sounded strong and I\'m sure you will get the numbers once your mid pipe is sorted. I purchased a stainless steel mid pipe through //www.shyauto.com it was a very nice piece of kit and not alot of pennies.
Hope this helps:)

John,

Nice to meet you too. I cannot believe how quick the car feels on the road - something you must know all too well. Cars this quick should be frickin illegal (actually, thinking about it.....:))

Thanks for the advice,

Joel

John, one more question - was it Shyauto\'s own mid-pipe, or is it made by one of the maufacturers whose brands they stock?

Cheers,

Joel

Hi Joel

Welcome to the \'300 club\':D
I believe my mid pipe was made by Tiger, I had an R Magic but returned it because the welds were not up to scratch and the Tiger was a few MM bigger:cool.
I also understand that Shy can supply a silenced mid pipe.
Remind me not to park next to you at any of the summer meets - open waste gates are likely to start a grass fire:o
