Title: Cheap Clutch replacement?
Post by: Bunggle on December 17, 2007, 09:59:21 AM
grrrr, if it\'s not one thing, it\'s another! Got in my car this morning and the clutch has gone. No warning, nothing. Just gone.

Can anyone recommend a place I can get a standard (OEM or other) clutch for my FD?

Thanks,
Kym

What do you mean gone? What are the symptoms?

I have to redline it to get it to pull away and it stinks to high heaven! First I thought that the brakes were stuck on, except that I shoved it in neutral on a hill and it rolled quite happily. Strangely, it changes gear ok once it\'s moving.

if the clutch has gone i have an almost new one in for sale section.

check hydraulics first for leaks. it may be the slave or master.
