So went to Abbey motorsport to run on their hub dyno. This is my Knightsports block with T70 lump. Max boost I ran was just shy of 1.1 bar.
The peak power at the hubs was 400 bhp bang on. The operator produced this flywheel chart with a flywheel loss factor of 10%. I questioned this, but that is what he said. I have read anything up to 18 %, so the flywheel figure could be greater than what you see on the graph. I am very happy with 400 rwhp. I have all the raw data he emailed me. I have 0.8 bar boost at 4150 rpm. Half a bar by 3702, spooling 0.3 bar by 3100 revs..

All in all, pretty happy... :Thumbsup!
well done fella..its very rewarding in the end...:3gears-rh
good result. 10% is accurate for fly to hub, 18% is about norm for fly to wheels
nice figures there, she must feel pretty quick now
Yeah is great fun, it really puts a smile on your face..

I should see about getting my T70\'d lump on the dyno to see what it\'s making. Usually puts a grimace of fear on my face this time of year rather than a smile though!!!
What sized hot-side are you running?
Hotside is 1.0 Iain
My boost controller was struggling on the day as 1 of the pipes split because of the heat from the turbo. Luckily it wasn\'t one that would have caused a massive overboost. So, in actual fact I didn\'t run above 0.9 bar on that run, below is the chart of boost.

At 1.1 bar the thing really shifts...
Good figures there :Laugh
Just be careful this time of year, went to get some fuel last night and car was wheel spinning all over the place and was not even giving it much, did a nice drift around the Sainsbury\'s roundabout though with peeps watching :Laugh easier when its icy
no vids?? good result :D

Interesting - which boost controller are you using? Might have the gain turned up too much as it looks a bit wobbly! (or is that the split pipe?)
I\'m getting 1.1. bar by 3800 with a 1.15 hot-sdie. Very keen to find out what it\'s pushing out but it\'s scary-fast :)
Was down to the split pipe.
It held very well before the pipe went.
ordered some of this stuff, which should help
