Hi guys,
The only think i need to get my car running now is an oddessy battery, I had one and it died and I need a new one asap, any suggestions?
Alan
try //www.knightbatteries.co.uk
The do better batteries than the oddyesy stuff. I run a PC1500 which is very nice, 25kg though !
Shaun
DOH, thats what they sell :Giggle
Shaun
There mega expensive though, I got my last one for a fraction of the cost of knight batteries.
Couldn\'t find anybody that matched them, although I didn\'t look too hard. Local supplier that is cheap on standard batteries got me a quote and they where more expensive !
Shaun
Mine came from barden in Fareham
http://www.barden-uk.com
Slightly more expensive than some suppliers, but I collected it so no postage.

Just phoned them, they haven\'t got any in stock and I really want the one with the metal jacked and they don\'t stock it.
Any one else got any ideas
Thats a shame, I got mine from Bardons too, although wet-cell but tiny.
I\'m thinking about for you though
P.
Eh, Barden are dearer than knight for the same battery !
Shaun
I got my last one from euro energy and they were easily the cheepist, I would pay extra if I could actually pick it up today.
Not having a lot of luck here had to wait till today to see what was going on with my other battery,
Does anyone know anywhere that stocks a pc680 within driving distance of guildford so I can get it today!!!!!!!!!
pah I got my dry slim battery from Halfords for £50-£60
how u may ask.
Just bought there car jump starter/booster device and took it apart and used the Battery in that :D
I\'ve had to order one,
Its actually got to the point where I don\'t know if I can even be bothered to get the car running again its proved to be such a pain.

How\'s that working out for you? Especially in this cold!? I was going to try that but then someone said unless you\'d drive for a while afterwards you\'d end up with a flat battery after one start.
been using it for the last year, so long as I use it once a week then its fine, if you leave for a couple of weeks it will need a recharge.
In terms of cranking I can stop and restart several times, was fine at pod when switching it constantly on and off. Just had to make sure I had a good earth. I bought two of the things so if it did go flat at Pod I could quickly swap to a fully recharged one
Interesting stuff, I think I may revisit that then and take my one apart (once I get it back off that theiving toerag mate of mine!).
Good to know it works :D
