As far as I can tell she\'s a \'99 Type-R. I pootled about it in her all weekend and took a few shots to show off. My apologies about the poor photos as you all know the whether was bloody miserable last weekend.

Mods so far are:
Aftermarket FRP bonnet (No idea which one but I like it)
SPAX coilovers (far too bloody hard)
3" stainless steel exhaust (far too bloody loud)
Blitz Technospeed Z1 Wheels (need a refurb)
Apexi PFC + Commander

I haven\'t had a day nice enough to actually put my foot all the way to the floor but so far I am over the moon. :D

Jit: If by Sicknote you mean Dave then yeah it\'s his one. Originally I only asked if I could have a go to see if Rx-7\'s were for me but one drive and I was hooked.

SiH: Hey man yeah I did worry about spamming all the forums I\'m a member of, sorry you\'ve had to read about my showing off in multiple places :). Yeah I pretty much knew the 300C wasn\'t really for me, shame I spent so much money on it really :( oh well, all good now.

d6277n: I\'m in Woodley near Southlake, drop me a pm if you wanna meet up.

Quote from: grantAs far as I can tell she\'s a \'99 Type-R.

Looking good, is there a sticker on the drivers door frame telling you what model it is?  Does it have one or two oil coolers?

Kevin

Kevint (http://www.mazdarotaryclub.com/forums/member.php?u=42): there is a sticker it says Type-R and suspension: hard.

No idea on the oil coolers it\'s been too blasted cold to poke about inside the engine bay :Grrr

youll find the oil coolers on the small intakes in your front bumper on the far right and far left just abouve your splitter...look like small intercoolers...should be one on each side :Thumbs-up

Put a face to the name tonight at Reading Jap Meet - Looks every bit as good in the flesh.

I would post a pic of the Exhaust up - someone is bound to recognize it - but it obviously was a badged one at some stage.

See you at the next Meet (if it\'s dry :Giggle ).

Yeah will do, I\'ll also take Tim\'s advice and look into getting Pipewerx to make up a quieter mid section.

Good to meet you too mate.
