Title: Anyone interested???
Post by: Woodsy on December 05, 2007, 06:12:59 PM
I had an idea of organising a photoshoot for the forum members and their RX7\'s

Im a part time photographer and have been involved in alot of car related shoots. I just think it would be an awesome chance to get the RX\'s together, meet other members in person and come out of it with some awesome photographs.

I know alot of us live quite far apart but i think it could be a real good day.

What you guys think?

Thats what I was thinking, as well as the fun and social factor.

Im thinking we\'ll try and do it somewhere central, although that could be tricky

Is this for just FC\'s or anything ?

As you\'ve posted it in the 2nd Gen section only. might get more interest in the open forum ?

This is also weather dependent as I would certainly like to show my car in nice sunshine to bring out the curves and shine, thats unless we can get an indoor arena of some sort.

how about combing it with another attraction, pod or a trackday etc

I thought about combining it with an event but i think they are all done now till summer. Could be wrong tho :-s

As for the FC only thing, i wouldnt be opposed to other rotarys joining in but fort it might be nice to get a few FCs in one place as they are very rarely seen in big numbers.

I reckon we got a good 5 FC\'s so far, Anyone else???

well atm im still waiting for mine to arrive, expecting it to leave japan in the next few weeks and to dock in the uk end of january early feb time. If theres enough people that wanna do it but cant travel, we could always wait untill Japshow or Rotorstock??? Im guessing most people on hear are attenders?

Im a Poss.
weather /location dependant. How about meeting up at Cambridge services, going in convoy to Sandringham [ bet the queen would be impressed] for the pic\'s then a short blast to Sunny Hunny for fish and chips and then the scenic route back, if its near the end of April we could finish up in my village around 4 o\'clock to meet up with the yesteryear run [ about 200 old cars, bikes, tractors etc.]
