Title: Towing eye?

I\'m off on another trackday on Saturday and will need to fit a towing eye. I\'m not sure there is one in the car anywhere (FD), could someone point me in the right direction? :o

Are they universal (i.e. could I buy a generic one if I don\'t have one)?

havent got one on mine cost me a cracked bumper when dragged onto tow truck,also would be interested in getting one think i have seen them on nengun\'s site ages ago

RHDJapan have a choice of 3 on their site, two are universal, ones a direct bolt-on from Feed...

made my own out of some 20mm Aluminium Plate :Giggle

Newera has them.
 The genuine Mazda ones were only fitted to UK spec FD\'s I believe.
I\'ve been looking for one also...for the same reason.

I know someone over on fduk who had made their own one and was going to let me borrow one so that i could get it made from a friend of mine..:rolleyes:

The other issue is that I have a c-west bumper and had to do quite alot of hacking to get the one I had fit.

yep, and if i was to put one on then the bumper has to be cut but the end result looks good as well as effective...

I think they are fot the trailer plug and socket connectiom for the trailer lights.
Could be a bit flimsy!!

The mazda one is really chunky

Hmm, well at least I wasn\'t being stupid in not being able to find it then!

I\'ve got a C-West nose too, thought I saw the towing eye socket in the gap though? Will have to have another look when it\'s out of the garage. Doesn\'t look like I\'ll be getting one in time for the weekend anyway! :(
