Title: Rotary Specialists in the London/Surrey Area?!?
Post by: eyedee on February 20, 2004, 09:05:26 PM
Hi there,
Ive very recently bought an RX7 without knowing very much about them, being rotary powered and having only tuned and modded \'general\' car and bike engines before.  I have picked up (as far as I know!!!) a 92 efini Type R imported from Japan, 53K Miles, lovely body kit, split rim alloys etc.  It needs a little cosmetic work to shine it up a bit but I think its pretty clean mechanically.  I really want to take it to am RX7 specialist to have it thoroughly gone over, purchase a few spares, get a compression test done and get some hands-on advice, but I cant find anyone near me who can help.  Does anyone know where a decent RX7 specialist in London or Surrey are and got their contact details?

OH YEAH!!!  And can anyone tell me if 240/40/18\'s will fit on a lowered, body kitted RX7.  I dont know how much its been lowered cos I dont know how high the REX is to start with! ;)

cheers

Thank-you for the welcome.  :)  Reading isnt too far from me at all, which is nice!  All I have to do now is find out how to get old bubbling tint film off my back window - its STICKY stuff!
thanks

use a hair drier or a heat gun. set heat gun low or you could do some damage then its slow and careful as she goes cap\'n.
