was out driving before and i put my foot down in first gear and first turbo was fine then when second turbo kicked in there was nothing! any ideas would help thanks!

could be most things bud most likely a loose pipe, do you hear any boost leaks? If you like we can meet up over the weekend and I\'ll have a look for you? Send me a PM
same thing happened to me a while ago it turned out to be a boost leak even know i could not hear it leaking, and it did also boost from time to time.

you arent havin gmuch luck are you mate. how did the compression test go ?
yeah i know mate lol! didnt get one done just had a mate look over it and seems to be fine! well apart from the boost fault!
Ive had a couple of boost probs too since i got mine but they have always turned out to be hoses either cracked/split/kinked.
Have a good check around near the turbo assembly mate as it gets mega hot down there.
Hey EnvyD - Do you have a boost gauge? so your saying you are getting full bost on 1st gear then sweet fa on the 2nd?
I had the same/similar problem with mine, after replacing ALL the vac hoses on the rats nest and scratching my head thereafter when i didnt get anything, i spotted another few hoses i missed :mad:
Take off the airbox and the BIG pipe that goes to the back fo the engine, you should see a few more pipes with me these are all brittle and split, to the point that if i touched them they crumbled! :)

nah aint got no boost gauge mate! need to get one tho! well i think am going to see bobbit this weekend so might be able to get something sorted! since am new to the hole rex thing only had it for 3-4 weeks now (i think) lol

Fix the prob! Turned out to be a split pipe from the phlenum (sp???) to the crv and the intercooler pipe had loads of cracks and a split too! Got them changed over and now it seems to be fine, sounds great, the exhaust is really growlie but not too loud. Hope you enjoy it bud!
