Title: Todays project - FD Convertable

Been thinking about doing this for some time...so today i decided it was time.

so... take 1 FD shell:

two idiots (the other ones taking the photo :King )

and an angle grinder and away we go! First job to make the car a convertable is to lose the roof:

ever wonderedhow thick and FD roof skin is? We got it as about 1.5mm....handy to know :Santa

Next job is to sort out strengthening the floor to minismise flexing of the chassis

Then we decided to send the shell off for preping at our expert bodyshop. Soo here she is loadedd onto our low loader ready to be sent off:
