Can anyone tell me how to get this bearing off please? Thanks Ade.
err, if you remove the gearbox, it will become apparent!
mate, if i knew id tell you.. i\'ll have a look around the net for ya :D
Cheers John!, not much time left in the unit to get the engine back in and get her running so was hoping someone could quickly help me out, juggling the build with the business and a 9 year old is stressin me!
p.s Martin it may be apparent but even though Ive just rebuild my engine for the first time I am unsure how to change this bearing as it is stuck solid with no "apparent" means of removing it, thats why I have asked the people of MRC! Also I was under the impression that this forum is here to help not be sarcastic! so unless you have anything productive to say about the topic in hand please keep your comments to yourself , thanks.

Cheers buddy! Just the info I need, dead simple but after 12 hours at work and 2 hours stripping the engine bay ready for paint it was hard to see the wood for the trees! Thanks again :cheers

I apologise, but how was I supposed to know you had the engine out?

Can I put some oil on troubled waters here? An easy mistake for Martin to make, I thought that the engine must still be fastened up to the gearbox as well. Then I see that there\'s a video for releasing it. I\'ve learned a bit more today. On the other side as R1Dude, it\'s easy to think that people are making sarcastic comments at one\'s expense. So apologies all round, no harm done. Peace reigns again.
Thanks David, perhaps I should have put some smileys on my sarkie comment, too.
Appology accepted :Thumbs-up
