Title: short shifter for everyday driving?
Post by: michaelb on November 23, 2007, 07:32:43 PM
Hi All

Any one is using a short shifter for everyday driving?  Does it really work when it really maters for quick gear change?

Which model would you recommend and how much is it?

Regards,

got B&M from clive believe he cant get them now unless silly quantity ordered IIRC about £90 ,beware of cheapo ones you tend to get what you pay for. Took a bit of getting used to a bit stiff 1st thing compared to stock one but as soon as all warmed up excellent, definately reduces throw mostly notice it on the drag strip so far never missed a change when running. Not sure if you may be able to get one from nengun.

Can I fit it my self ?  Is it easy?
