Right just a quick question.

How do you use the cruise control?

Its the first car I have had with it fitted and there is no owners manual with the thing. So I have no idea how it works.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Dave

There\'s a button on the dash to turn it on.  then drive to the required speed and press the \'set coast\' button on the steering wheel.  Use the brake or the cancel button to stop cruisin and the resume button to resume the cruise speed.  the resume button doesn\'t work if you drop below third gear.  you have to set the speed again.  the resume button also lets you increase your speed if you keep it pressed.

Not a 2nd gen there isnt! ;)

On the level to the left hand side of the wheel press in the round button, this will turn on the cruise control system.  Once you have accelerated to your desired speed, press and hold the orange set button on the end of the stalk, as the cruise control engages you should feel the accelerator drop slightly from your foot.  If it doesn\'t take your finger off of the orange buttin and try again. (For some reason it occasionally takes 2 attempts on some 2nd gens!)
To coast flip the lever down, to resume after touching the brake pedal, flick the lever upwards.   To accelerate whilst in cruise mode, hold down the orange button.

Hope that helps - and not trying to shout you down gergriffinrx7 :wave
