I have put my engine in this weekend, I fund it easier to mount the gearbox to the engine first and then guide it all in.
I was reading through the FSM and was following the instructions.
1) Fill torque conveter with ATF... ok
2) Push torque conveter into gearbox.. aligning the notches... ok
3) Mount gearbox to the engine... ok
4) Rotate torque converter while locking drive plate to align holes for the torque conveter bolts...
Im having a bit of difficulty rotating the torqure conveter without moving the drive plate to align them both up.. its a little tight together!
I thought I would try again once its in the car and mounted to the Diff.. is this usual?
Thanks,
James
