Title: D2 racing coilovers
Post by: flash76 on November 18, 2007, 02:46:08 PM
I got some D2 racing coilovers a few months back to fit on my fd, they say on them \'not for street use\' which is a bit of a bugger as thats what i need them for!

has anyone used these before? can they be adjusted to use ok on the street? or should i just sell them and get some tein ss?

I\'ve got these on my FD, no problems on the street whatsoever.... they are a little harsh but that\'s because I\'m running the damper setting on medium

i run them on my fd. and love them. great price and nice ride. loads of adjustmants(sp) on them too.  with the springs that come with them i think there actualy a lil soft for what i was after but i got some eibach spring to sort that out.

only problem i had was the rear  bottom bushings on the bottom of the shock was a little to big. i had to remove a very small bit of material to fit them.

other than that a great setup

few pics fitted

I\'ve just bought some of these today from a dude in New Zealand for £460. Hope they\'re better than my Bilstiens.
