Its my 1st post here soooo

HELLO!!

I have used the faq and searches but cant seem to find the link to which size gauges fit in the stock locations.

Love the REX i have come from a 500hp mr2 so speed is not the issue.
Its such a lovely drive.

Heres my plans

the rex already has exhaust and induction.

Intercooler (any recommendations)
PFC(bought)
injectors to suit.

I am looking to keep the engine in stock condition as its running great and i dont want crazy power.
PIP wgt mentioned that 300hp is safe on the stock block and twins.

I do have a big single turbo but am unsure as to if i should use it.

ay how

Hello and good to be here!

David

Welcome to the club dave....

IC: best in my opinion is a V-Mount... better folw through the cooler which results in vastly reduced inlett temps which is better for the engine!!

If your running stock blowers & knocking on the door of 300 then std injectors will do fine... wnything above this figure & I think you will have to start looking at upgrading the injectors!!

One word of warning though... if your a modder, then you will start off with small things & before you know it, you will be like the royal hogness with 500 bhp + & spanking it around the tracks of the UK & the ring!!

Jono has said it all really; best intercooler setup is v-mount and your injectors should be fine upto 300 however you many want to invest in a bigger fuel pump and possible a FPR.

You did well getting 500hp out of an MR2.  I come from an MR-2 background myself, manage 450 out of my last one, but it was an awful ride.  Were you on IMOC by any chance?

Hi
Thanks for the welcome!

I have a bosh 44 pump going in and fpr just for the safety side of things.
Whats the standard oil pressure supposed to be and is there any special way of checking the oil levels etc.

Whilst i know my way around cars very very well i dont for one second think i know it all and by no means know anything at all about a rotary!

All your help is invaluable.

Yes kevin i am nisnos from IMOC.

The YESITSME name is a running joke i have with my GF so it somehow spread to here!
