As some of you may have read I have organized a mappin session with geff of RE-WORX at CPL Racing in Sheernees this Sat. I\'ve also managed to organize a feature with BANZAI magazine but as they dont have anyone available they would like me to get some decnt photos and a bit of write uo and tech info. The write up I can manage and the tech info Geff can help with I hope. But I dont even own a digital camera let alone how to use one well. so you have the journalists job, Geff has the tech job and someone gets the photographers job, to sell there mag, which you then have to buy. Seems very one sided:rolleyes:

As Gary mentioned though, effectively your a freelance journalist and should charge for services ;)
I think free subscription to the mag and some plugs for MRC should do it.

One thing Jay - my big memory card is broke so I have a staggering capacity of 11 pictures.
Well plugs and getting in the mag are cool anyway I suppose, and my offer still stands if needed.
A WORD OF WARNING:
I have seen this happen before, and the articles written have been cut to shreads often leaving out plugs and big chuncks of info. This is in no way commenting on this particular mag, as I cant remember which one it was.

Would offer to come and get you Lee but my car is goin to be full of wheels as I\'ve sold mine and the gut is meetin me there to pick them up. You may well be right Lee about the mag but we will just have to wait and see.

I have a camera but its only 2.1mp I think. Also, its nasty fluo lighting with very little natural light. I got a couple of decent shots the other day but only by getting lucky without the flash a couple of times, mine hates fluo lights...

OK here the deal, get a fax with a promise to put a full page ad for rotorstock in it, could be half page flyer and half page editorial, and I will come down with my 4 mill pix camera, collect the write up from Geff and Jay, get my whizz sec (chloe) to type it up for them and maybe do a layout with the pictures. They have nothing to do and we get a advert that costs them nothing to give. But I wona see that fax. A jounalists word is no good Im afraid.
I\'ll be taking my 4MB Olympus compact, just got a 512Mb card for it so should be able to get lots of shots.

Bring a tripod mate, as I said the light isnt great there so any assistance you can provide yer camera will be good.
Just spoke to Geff to check if it was coll for anyone to turn up and check it out and he said that would be fine.
Gary that sounds like a good idea I will see what I can do. Basically I will do my best to promote Rotorstock and MRC and just hope that Banzai dont stich me up.......... there seems to be no reason why they would at the end of the day we are doin them agood turn. We will just have to wait and see...
