Its BMW Avus blue.. Not sure on what type the paint is, did\'nt ask :)

The top photo is actually outside the paintshop when we picked it up, the middle pic is my dyno cell, and the lower pic is my office lol

Its got to go back once its one piece for some final finishing work, there was minor **** up of scheduling!

Its currently sitting in another unit in our site, where it will be reasembled :)

Rear subframe and fuel tank on now, loom half in, Ed who is helping me reassemble had to splice the end of the cab loom onto the coupe loom because someone had chopped it off!

Hope to have the engine in it and the car on 4 wheels by the end of this week!

If anyone wants bits off the cab, feel free to make me an offer!

It\'s black isn\'t it ?

I\'ll give you a call - on the SRR number - be intereted in the bonnet and front bumper and maybe drivers side wing.  Also some other little odds and sods if you still have them.

Cheers,

Dave.  :)

Yes, its black. feel free to give me a call. If there is no answer, leave me a message and i\'ll call you back.

I have a mint door and drivers side wing that are a different colour as well as the ones on the car (which are not mint)

I\'ll take some pics of it later today, Only thing at the moment that i need off it are the mirrors, because the ones i had painted are fubar.

Off to pick up my hubs now :Talking1

i got here first

i dont think it matters if its UK or JDM - aslong as its a S5 it SHOULD work

i know the headlights are different from UK to JDM - but a wiper switch is a wiper switch at the end of the day !

The yankie ones are back to front - so they are no good for a switch swap.

I only want the rotary switch at the bottom of the cluster - sorry to hijack the thread - but if you do take this Stu, can I have your old broken one ;)

good point about the US ones - the switch is on the wrong side

why dont you fix yours - if its just the wiper - i thought you already had done this ??

and if you just need the switch - surely any one would do - wouldnt need to be from a cab ? ( i might have some normal ones kicking around somewhere - odds are though i have just packed them ready for the house move )

The track on the pcb in the actual switch itself is what\'s broken - the epoxy silver paint lasted about a year - but now I only have intermittent and slow.  A normal wiper switch (non cab) would do me.

Anyways - Vixpy is keeping the switch for his coupe so it\'s not up for offer - sorry Stu - I did ask on your behalf :)

If there\'s any small bits you want that he has, I\'m going to see it on Sunday so let me know.

god knows what someone has done to mine - there is a round vent in a square hole !!

Right, Progress has been made, engine is hopefully going in this weekend!

Whole car should be finished by Sat week

Everything is covered in dust due to my sanding filler, and bear in mind none of the loom or anything has been tidied away!

Oh and the plate is wrong because the rear number plate holder has been liberated from another car.
