If its getting really hard to start, your compression will be low, time for a rebuild!

Open ended question mate.  Lots of things can mean a rebuild, from rough idling to overheating.

Why?  Have you got a problem?

get it towed somewhere and find out whats actually wrong.

spending money on a rebuild that isnt necessary is a waste

but equally killing off a good engine by either using it wrong (warming up - cooling down) or not spotting a problem early enough is also a false economy.

any faults you have may be very quick and easy but many things can cause the motor to die a perhaps undue death.

Is this just engines????  or have the wheels fallen off?  That\'s sometimes a good indication that the car needs a rebuild ;)

My car used to run rough and overheat, turned out to be the LIM gasket.

Get it checked out before you shell out needlessly.

Have a do down to Mazda at silverlink and get them to do a compression test or give jm-imports a ring he is local and imports a lot of rx7\'s so might be able to point you in the right direction.

I had to keep adding water so thought water seals gone rebuild time, took it to WGT and the filler top had cracked the part that bolts onto the filler neck that the cap attach\'s too.

12 quid later no more problem, dont think the worst  sometime its a just knowing  what else could be wrong.

Most unlikely, no gestapo of any sort on FD:UK. Pop on and speak to Nige, Max or Ant - they\'ll sort you out.

In all its years I\'ve never known anyone come remotely close to being banned so I wouldnt take whatever happened to heart!!
