Title: knock sensor problems
Post by: wow on November 09, 2007, 06:56:27 AM
Hi all,

i was just wondering where the knock sensor is located as yesterday i started getting constant readings of 122 knock level even with the smallest of throttle and even as high as 196.
so just wondered where the sensor was so i could take a look,  also does anyone know how much they are if mine is  dead.

cheers

Check underneath car, sometime when de catted the sensor is just tied up underneath, Ive seen them just tucked up, if it gets lose it can send a signal that will make light flash.
