I am not sure that I agree with you.
The article is full of errors such as who designed it,it has an RX8 engine in the middle of it and the turbo\'s are said to be differing sizes, which is not true either.
It looks good at first, but anyone reading it and beleiving everything can be sadly misled due to the innaccuracies.
Regards
Carl
This is soooo true
\'The car owned the driver, and the driver was bent to its will.\'

true but the diagram at the side of it is a conventional peripheral exhaust port i think.
i also like the line
QuoteThe RX-7 doesn\'t suffer novices, and those who don\'t have a good grasp of when to feed in countersteer will find themselves backing into stationary objects at high speed.
matt
that is the most confusing car review ive ever read!
half positve half negative and alot wrong :p
Its written by an american what do you expect lol
It also mentions "R1 model."
There was NEVER any model R1.
And if the Wankel is "Mazda\'s aged twin spinner", then what the hell are all those (much older) piston engines out there?
I do like the pictures, but I agree with Carl, not the best article.
I thought there was an R1 in the US?
I\'m being a bit picky, but let me say again, there was NEVER an R1 !
There was a type "R", and then a type "R2".
Mazda did not EVER call it "R1", the yanks gave that name themselves, to mean the "R".
uh-oh... its starting here, too, asking for "R1" stuff in the wanted section:

Oops! Sorry, my bad! And I can\'t edit now :(
Promise I\'ll not do it again!!!
okay maybe not one of the best articles... lol... I found the link on RX7 club
no prob, Kash, its still a good article, and I like the pictures, and thanks for posting it !
