Title: Urgent help needed Type RS
Post by: rotarymadd on February 17, 2004, 10:19:19 AM
Need Help!

I am being offered a 1998 rx7 type RS. It seems pretty much a stock car and the condition isnt too bad, but the mileage is around 150000 km\'s.
Now I know that is quite high, but being a newer model are they able to sustain such high mileage?
I am asked to make an offer for the car, so would be helpful if someone can help me here. Also, if it does need a rebuild at that stage. How much am I looking at?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Cheers!

by the way. The chap who is selling says there is no history of engine rebuild. The car is in Hong Kong so its a tad difficult in having it fully checked out!

Thanks again

I think they might have added one to many zero\'s to the mileage. Rebuild can cost from 2.5k upwards.
