Title: Compression figures - 7.3\'s ok?
Post by: SiH on November 05, 2007, 10:36:00 AM
Hi Guys,
I\'m curently in the process of finding an FD in Japan via an agent.
I\'ve found a \'96 RS that seems to fit exactly what I\'m after - it\'s just had a compression tet done and i\'ve been told it\'s reading 7.3\'s all round - it\'s a \'96 RS on about 62k km - does that sound like a good solid base, or is it a little low? rom searching around on here - it sounds reasonable :)
Cheers
Si

yeah bud anything above 7`s is classed as good :) high 7`s like 7.8`s is around new rebuilt engines.. so id say yours has the original engine only havin 30ish k miles.. :)
