Title: Catalytic convert piping
Post by: leeroy_25 on November 03, 2007, 08:09:55 PM
Can someone please tell me how many pipes should be coming off it the catalytic cnverter and also should it have an exhaust gas sensor in it? I have so far got one pipe coming down to it from the air pump. I have also noticed that there is something missing towards the back of the CAT on the passenger side? there is a small hole and two threads sticking out? Should  have more pipework or is this for a sensor? If so where will I find the sensor wiring as I haven\'t noticed and plugs under there!

If someone can post a picture it may help a lot.

Thank you
Lee

Mine had an EGT sensor and a pipe for the air pump....don\'t remember anything else.

So I am definately missing the EGT sensor! Where does the wiring for it go to?

Does it screw in a round hole or is it held on via a plate and some small nuts? Will try and post a pic of mine today..

Thank you
Lee
