so anyone got any aftermarket stuff?  Am at the point of ordering some carpet (engine isn\'t even in yet, but what the hell), and am looking at either cream or dark blue carpet inside a dark blue car...  And I can\'t decide.

Anyone got any pics of blue or cream carpet inside (preferably) a 1st gen (or any other car for that matter...)

Cheers Chris, but I\'ve got FD seats, and I\'m not planning to have rear seats, so will be building a custom box...

And Shaun - these guys deliver complete new carpet plus spare for covering the rear seat area for about £150 in about 10 working days! 1st gen carpet (http://stores.autocarpetpros.com/-strse-18101/ACC%2C-ACS-Dorsett%2C-Carpet%2C/Detail.bok).  Seriously helpful dude on the phone, and online colour charts!  (antelope or caramel, Royal blue or blue...  oh, the choices...)

Blue buddy,Cream won\'t take the road dirt. I\'ve got a nice old reddy brown one out of a scrapper if you like! A lot lot cheaper!
(Picture one of them funny men faces for a joke - everyone does em on here except me).

I agree with David if it\'s gonna be your daily driver,although i\'d be tempted to get the seats retrimmed in cream leather with matching blue alcantara inners......

cool, loads of colours. As said best go for a darker colour !

I would do the carpet to match exterior colour,seats i would do in cream with piping to match exterior.That way it looks co-ordinated & less mish mash!
It works on cobra\'s with interiors on full display,so will work on RX7\'s.

now THAT is a lot of consideration and thought, ladies and gentlemen, and I thank you for that significant concern...

Dash & door panels would also need to be co-ordinated to complete the look.
You can get edge of door panels piped to match seat piping,i would leave the dash till last,then decide what colour/material to finish that in.
I spent approx 3k on my cobra interior to get right,carpets/piping/leather etc,any idea how much yours will cost?
To give you some idea...
exterior colour of cobra..british racing green,carpets also brg,seats & door panels cream with brg piping,dash just cream leather with no piping.
If you want to see interiors costing £1000\'s look on cobra club site.
Cobra interiors are tiny,if you can make them look good your RX7 will be a breeze!!!
At end of the day,its your choice,have fun:D
